Measure Guarantee

 

1. Overview of Measure Guarantee

Our Measure Guarantee provides protection beyond your standard legal rights. All blinds are manufactured on a made‑to‑measure, bespoke basis according to the measurements you provide. Because of this, they are not eligible for return under Distance Selling Regulations if they do not fit due to incorrect measurements.

With the Measure Guarantee, and subject to the conditions below, we will replace blinds that are the wrong size if you notify us within 14 calendar days of delivery.

Measure Guarantee protection is only available on selected made‑to‑measure blinds.

This goodwill protection does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis‑described goods.


2. Eligibility Conditions

To qualify for the Measure Guarantee:

  1. You must select the Measure Guarantee option at checkout before placing the order.
  2. You are responsible for:
    • The cost of returning the blinds.
    • Our standard delivery fee for sending replacements.
  3. If the replacement blinds are larger than the original size, you must pay the difference in price.
    (No refund is provided if the replacement size is smaller.)
  4. Measure Guarantee is available only once per original order and once per customer within a 12‑month period.
  5. Not available for:
    • Trade customers
    • Wholesale orders
    • Orders of more than 10 blinds
  6. Only valid for orders delivered within the United Kingdom.
  7. Commercial Blinds Direct may withdraw this cover at any time without prior notice.

3. How to Make a Measure Guarantee Claim

You must notify us within 14 calendar days from the delivery date. Email us at sales@commercialblindsdirect.co.uk with the following information:

  1. Full Name
  2. Order Reference
  3. Delivery Address
  4. Contact Telephone Number
  5. Measurement(s) of the blind(s) you wish to claim for
  6. Measurement(s) required for the replacement blind(s)

Once your claim is assessed and approved, we will issue you with a reference number.
You must not return any blinds until this number has been provided.


4. Returning Your Blinds

  1. Blinds must be returned unused, complete, and in their original secure packaging.
  2. Returns must be sent to our address at your own expense:

  4. You must clearly display the reference number on the return address label.
  5. We will inspect and photograph all returned components.
    • If items are missing, damaged, or deemed not reusable, we may charge for replacement parts or, in extreme cases, the full cost of a new blind.
  6. If any negligence occurs in how the product is returned, we reserve the right to charge for any repairs required to restore it to resaleable condition.

Once your return is approved, we will begin manufacturing the replacement blinds.


5. Replacement Conditions

  • Replacements must be the same product type, colour, and specification as the original order.
  • Only the size (width and/or drop) may be changed.
  • If the replacement is more expensive than the original, the price difference must be paid before production.
  • Standard delivery charges apply and must be paid prior to dispatch.
